Privacy Policy

Your clipboard stays yours

This policy explains what Clypy handles, what stays on your devices, and the controls available to you. Choose the plain-language guide or the complete legal policy.

What stays private

Your clips, search index, settings, and encryption keys live on your devices. Clips are encrypted before sync, and Clypy does not have the key needed to read them.

What online services see

Online services may handle basic delivery and security details such as your IP address, request time, app version, and encrypted message size. If you allow website analytics, Google Analytics also measures page visits and download choices. Purchases and support use the contact and transaction details needed to help you.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information, run targeted advertising, or use your clips to train AI models. Clypy does not receive your full card number.

Your controls

You can delete clips, set expiry rules, remove paired devices, stop sync, rotate pairing credentials, or reset the app. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete provider and support records where the law gives you that right.

The recovery limit

If every paired device and recovery key is lost, neither Clypy nor the relay can decrypt your old clips. Keep a healthy paired device or a protected backup and recovery key.
